728 Copeland Ave, La Crosse

Your donations benefit those in need. People coming to the Emergency Shelter are given vouchers for clothing, furniture and other needed items. They come to the Thrift Store and pick out what they need, free of charge. Remaining items are sold to the general public at affordable prices. The proceeds from those sales, meanwhile, are funneled back to help the Emergency Shelter.

When donating items from rummage sales please remove your price tags. This saves time on our part.

Items we need donated:
-knick knacks
-dishes/pots & pans
-clothing of all sizes
– etc.

We will pick up furniture in the La Crosse area. Call to make an appointment: 784-1421

Behind the scenes

When your donation comes in the door, it is sorted into bins for clothing, household goods, sporting goods, knick knacks, etc.. The items are then priced and put on the sales floor.

Electronic items are tested to make sure they are in working condition.

No items are washed or dry cleaned; your items will generate more sales if you bring them in clean and wrinkle free.

Items that are in poor condition will not sell and are thrown away.

Furniture pick ups

We will pick up furniture in good condition within ___miles of the Thrift Store.  Our drivers are usually scheduled for the next one to three weeks; if you can wait, we will be happy to collect your furniture and appliances.
